The colourful capulunas of Mozambique
If you visit Mozambique you will see colourful capulanas everywhere. They are an important feature of life in Mozambique.
A woman’s wealth is measured by the number of capulanas she has. The capulanas are used as wrap-around skirts, headscarves, sheets, towels, as well as to carry babies in. This brochure’s design is inspired by the beautiful capulanas of East Africa.
